Deborah J. Menter (Debbie) is currently Chief Financial Officer and Director of Human Resources for Voss Signs, LLC, a prominent company in Central New York State that is a major manufacturer and retailer of signs, vehicle graphics, banners, and displays. Debbie and her husband Jim have been involved in charitable work involving velo-cardio-facial syndrome (VCFS) for more than a decade, a personal mission driven by their daughter who is affected by the syndrome. Debbie holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Union College where she was a member of Tau Beta Pi, the engineering honor society. She has also been active with many civic and community organizations including the Syracuse Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Onondaga Community Orchestra. She has been the Financial Officer for the Manlius United Methodist Church where she has also been active in a music leadership program. Her music activities stem from her own interest as a cellist and her daughter’s achievements as a violinist with the highly competitive Syracuse Youth Symphony. Voss Signs, thanks to the leadership of Debbie and her husband Jim, has been very active in charitable events in the Central New York Community including disability mentoring and, most recently, supporting clinical care and research benefiting people with VCFS.
